Your Fraser Island tour is a 3 Day Exclusive Camping Adventure and is a personalised advanced eco accredited Safari providing you with the opportunity to explore areas not frequented by other tour companies with the Fraser Island Company.
Travelling in very comfortable purpose built 4WD vehicles, your Fraser Island tour allows you ample time to hike, swim, and genuinely savour the treasures of Fraser Island. You can even catch your own fish for dinner!
Camp in luxury at the permanent tent village at Cathedral Beach and enjoy delicious meals. Your attentive guide will serve wine and beer with your evening meal, before whipping up a sticky date pudding for dessert.
Itinerary
Day 1: Travel across the Great Sandy Straits by ferry. Explore the interior of Fraser Island as you travel to Lake Allom. Picnic lunch. Stroll around the lake and admire the turtles. Visit spectacular Knifeblade Sandblow. Travel along 75 Mile Beach, visiting Maheno Shipwreck, Eli Creek and the Coloured Sands. Dinner and overnight at Frasers at Cathedral Beach.
Day 2: Breakfast at Frasers at Cathedral Beach. Explore the beautiful & peaceful northern regions of Fraser Island. Visit Indian Head and Champagne Pools, admire the Island's abundant wildlife, flora and fauna. Ample time to walk, photograph and swim. Picnic lunch. Return to camp by mid afternoon to relax, fish, hike or read. BBQ dinner and overnight at Frasers at Cathedral Beach.
Day 3: Breakfast at Frasers at Cathedral Beach. Travel south along 75 Mile Beach to Lake Wabby. Enjoy a morning of swimming, walking and relaxing. Drive to Happy Valley for lunch, and travel through the heart of Fraser Island and stroll through magnificent Yidney Scrub Rainforest. Visit peaceful Lake Garawongera for swimming, walking and birdwatching. Return to Moon Point and board the ferry for your return to Hervey Bay.
