Itinerary

Day 1: Depart Brisbane travelling north via Noosa, where you will board the Noosa River ferry to Cooloola National Park and Rainbow Beach Coloured Sands. Ferry cruise to Fraser Island's southern tip, travel along the 75 Mile Surf Beach before heading inland to Central Station. Walk the World Heritage rainforest boardwalk. Take the Pile Valley rainforest walk beside beautiful Wanggoolba Creek. Then move on to swim in the clear blue waters of Lake Mackenzie or Lake Birrabeen and soak up the sun on their white sandy beaches.

Arrive at Kingfisher Bay's award winning Eco-Resort. Settle in and relax while watching the sunset before dinner at one of the resorts' famous restaurants, bakery or Sand Bar (own costs). After dinner enjoy the heated pools and spas, or dance/karoke nights at the Dingo Bar.

Day 2: Enjoy a hot country buffet breakfast before travelling the world's most amazing beach highway. 4WD to Eli Creek, enjoy the boardwalk swim, and relax. See the coloured sand formations at the Pinnacles and the famous Maheno Shipwreck. After a fresh picnic lunch and cold drinks, travel further north to Indian Head. Walk this rugged lookout - spot turtles, sharks, dolphins and humpback whales (June -Nov). Later relax or cool down with a swim at the Champagne Pools.

Return via the beach to Kingfisher Bay Resort and Village. Relax by the swimming pools, spa and outdoor bars or watch the sunset from the Kingfisher Jetty. Explore and discover the splendour of the garden decks, boardwalks, coffee and specialty shops in this multi award winning Eco-Resort.

Day 3: Travel with your experienced guide via inland tracks, pass tall palms and rainforest plants before arriving at famous Lake Wabby. Explore, swim, hike and relax at this impressive emerald-green barage lake, being slowly engulfed by Hammerstone Sandblow. Return trip Brisbane.
